One Stop Services
Services: The centers provide basic employment
services to all individuals at no cost, regardless of employment
status. use the Public Access Resource Area in one of the One-Stop
Sites. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Job Search Activities
- Use the Public Access Resource Area - Print and Fax Resumes
and Use Computers
- Job Fairs & Interview Sessions
- Up-to-Date Information on Demand Occupations
- Workforce Learning Links
- Improve Computer, Math and Reading Skills
- Study for the GED Test
- Improve your English Skills
For individuals who are unemployed, underemployed or recently
laid off, the centers may provide more intensive employment, training
and social services based on eligibility and availability. These
may include, but are not limited to:
- Career Assessment & Testing
- Job Readiness
- Life Skills Classes
- TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), GA (General
Assistance), Food Stamps and Medicaid
- Training Opportunities
- Unemployment Benefits
- Veterans Employment Services
- Youth Employment Services (ages 14 –21)
- Vocational Counseling & Rehabilitation
