Recognitions

The corporate partners of the Healthcare Workforce Consortium of the Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board (WIB) were awarded the Corporate Partnership Award from the Garden State Employment and Training Association (GSETA)on June 8, 2006 at the GSETA Workforce Development Conference in Atlantic City. The partners were honored for their commitment, leadership and financial support of the local workforce development system through the creation of innovative programs such as: The Youth Allied Health Program, The Nurse Workforce Solution Project and the Allied Health Professions Institute.  To visit the GSETA web page, click here.

Theodore E. Small Workforce Partnership Award, presented by the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) on March 4, 2005 in Washington, D.C.   The Atlantic Cape May WIB was honored for building successful partnerships with area employers that serve to train and hire qualified employees for positions in service industry sectors, such as hospitality and tourism, health care and retail.  For more information about the Theodore E. The Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board (WIB) was selected from more than 100 applicant organizations to receive a first place Recognition of Excellence Award from the United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, at the Workforce Innovations 2005 Conference held July 11-13 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.  For more information about the Workforce Inovations 2005 Conference  Click Here.
